Happy Faces from early readers and “read to” kiddos!

“Read your book last night before bedtime and I loved it! My daughter did, too! It was received well, and read well, too. I like that you used the chicken eggs as an example. Isla has brought up tht her and I have different skin color. We’ve acknowledged it every time she brings it up and have told her that there are a lot of people of color in the world. We’re different, we’re the same and we’re all wonderful!

- Lillie C.

“That book is so precious and so special! So thoughtfully written with beautiful images. He (their black son) had a lot to say; it brings up wonderful talking points. We had discussions during and after about our differences and how they make us special. The questions at the end were also wonderful discussion starters and we had a meaningful and special talk after that! I think everyone needs this book. It so perfectly describes how we are all made uniquely by God’s design.”

~~ J. Baker (white family with adopted black son)

“Our four year old daughter loved it … and so did we.”
